Habitat: Exposed rocky reefs, found between 2 to 80 metres deep. They prefer current-swept areas and often seen on steep rock faces.

Maximum Size: Height to 600 mm.
Notes: These animals have a knobbly head above a long thin stalk. Often found in groups, they are actually yellow but appear pink because they are covered in a thin layer of pink sponge.
