Habitat: Commonly seen on their annual migration to and from the Antarctic to breeding grounds off Queensland's coast.

Maximum Size: Length to 19m and 50 tonnes

Notes: These whales are spectacular at breaching, or leaping out of the water. Can be identified by their long white flippers, and a small dorsal fin. Whales communicate using complex 'songs', which can be easily heard by divers underwater.
